The Dream Tag

Hola! So today is the 1st of September so that means its the first day of my Tag A Month series! For my firt tag I thought I'd do the dream tag. This sounds like its going to be about hopes and dreams for the future, it's not.. It's literal dreams that you have when you're sleeping. I wanted to do this tag because I dream a lot. I have some pretty weird dreams and I I'm always popping up to my friends to tell them! They probably get pretty sick of them and are probably concerned for me because my dreams always involve the strangest things! Anyways, on with the tag!

1. Do you dream?
Yes as I've already said before. I love dreams even if they're the strangest things ever I still love them and I like remembering them and telling everyone. I also wonder why certain people pop up in your dreams or how your mind creates the scenario especially in nightmares. I mean my dreams and nightmares are pretty messed up and they are things I would never even think of out of a dream.

2. What did you dream about last night?
Last night I didn't actually have a dream, that or I just can't remember it. I actually really hate not having dreams because I love dreaming and I find them so funny.

3. How many dreams do you usually remember?
I'm really not sure for this question. I only tend to remember a few and it fustrates me so much when I can only remember part of a dream because it makes it so hard to tell people what the dream was.

4. Do you have a dream journal?
No I don't. I don't really think I ever will but maybe, I don't know. I think they seem like a really fun idea to remember all your dreams because when I think over my dreams they put me in a good mood if they were funny.

5. How often do you have nightmares?
Too often. I probably have more nightmares than nice dreams. I constantly have really horrible nightmares and I end up waking up hoping it was a dream and I'm terrified that it will be true.

6. Do you lucid dream?
I have tried once or twice but I couldn't do it. It seems really cool but then at the same time it seems a bit weird. I don't get how it works either.

7. Do you dream in colour?
Yeah, I guess I do. I mean generally all the colours in my dream are a lot brighter than in real life but then sometimes my dreams take place in really dark places and everything is much darker than in real life.

8. Do you dream in first person?
Yes, all the time. I don't think I've ever had a dream in third person to be honest. I prefer first person as well because its more personal to you, I don't know.. I'm weird like that.

9. Do you have recurring dreams?
I don't anymore but I used to. When I was a lot younger I used to always have the same dream whenever there was a storm. It was a really horrible nightmare, not a dream.

10. Have you ever had déjà vu?
Yes, who haven't? I'm always thinking "this has happened before..." And I'm always thinking it in really weird situations liek things that I've never done before at all so it's impossible that it has happened before.

So that's the end of my first tag for Tag A Month. I hope you enjoyed finding out about my weird dreams and thoughts on dreams!

A Tag A Month

Hello everyone! So this post is a super short update post. I really enjoy tag posts although I think I've only written one myself.. I have a lot of tags that I want to do and I wanted to think of a system of how to post them as I don't want to post two in the same week and then go four weeks without posting one and so on. I decided that a good way to write and post tags is one a month. With this being the case, the first tag will be up very shortly on the 1st of September (all being well). I will continue with this system until I have no more tags to post and each post will be uploaded on the 1st of each month (again, all being well) . I hope you enjoy reading the tags and hopefully enjoy learning little things about me and things like that.

Things Everyone Needs In Their Wardrobe: Autumn/Winter Edition

Recently, I decided to have a clear out and get rid of a few things and just tidy room and make it look a lot nicer. Whilst I was putting something away I thought "everyone needs one of these in their wardrobe" and then I was like "hey, that'd make a pretty good blog post" (I hope!). So that's what I'm doing today, things I think everyone should own.

1. A Onesie
Onesies are like my bestfriend in the colder months. I love how you can feel all warm and snugly in them and they're perfect for when you're not feeling great. I just love onesies and I have about 4 or 5 :L All mine are from Primark and I think they're really nice. They're really warm and fleecey and Primark is amazing for pyjamas. I think most of my friends have onesies as well.

2. An Oversized Knit
I love oversized knits. They are definitely the biggest must for Autumn and winter because they're so cosy and warm and snugly. I think it's highly important to have an oversized knit in your wardrobe even if its just for lazing around in and not going out in.

3. Combat Boots
Or any other kind of boots for that matter. I love combat boots but I struggle to find the perfect pair. They look so cute in autumn and winter and they look really nice with knee high socks. Boots in general are just an essential for the colder months and personally I think they look just a bit smarter than Ugg boots although Ugg boots can look really cute if they are worn with the right outfit.

4. Denim Skater Skirt
If you buy one of these I can promise you won't regret it! I bought one around November last year and I've worn it so much since! In cold weather they look cute with a knitted jumper tucked in or a cropped jumper and then in summer they go with most tops. The great thing about denim skater skirts is that they can be paired with a lot of different colours.

5. Bobble hat, scarf and mittens
These accessories are just essentials for autumn and winter! They look so cute as little combos and complete an outfit if you go out in the cold. Primark and Marks And Spencer's have some super cute hats, scarves and mittens/gloves.

Obviously I'm not telling you all to go out and buy these things and if they aren't your style then that's fine. These are just some staple items that I think will help shape and set a base for your autumn/winter wardrobe. I hope you enjoyed this post and feel free to comment any other of your staple pieces.

Perrie's New Hair

Perrie Edwards seems to be a bit of a hair queen. She's experimented so much with her hair and every single style has managed to suit her perfectly and look amazing. She's had pink hair she's had purple hair and so many different styles. Most recently she had quite silvery hair which was quite long but I think (not 100% sure) that the length was down to extensions. Perrie now has another new do. This time she's gone for a much shorter style and is bright blonde (not bleach blonde though) like how Perrie originally had it when she started her music career only it is blonder.
What do you guys think of Perrie's new hair? I think Perrie manages to pull of anything so, naturally, it suits her. I do like her hair long but this little do is cute. How long until she changes it again?

One Direction This Is Us Premiere: Red Carpet Fashion

I'm pretty sure the majority of people will be aware that a few days ago it was the premiere for One Direction's movie, This Is Us. One direction are the most successful band on the planet right now so it was no surprise that the red carpet was packed with familiar famous faces. And attending a premiere for one of the most anticipated movies of the year gives you that chance to dress up and look all smart. So it wasn't just familiar faces that filled the carpet, but fashion as well.
Honestly, I was quite surprised that the boys wore these outfits. I was expecting them to wear posh suits like they did when they were on The X-Factor all those years ago. Instead they all wore something different incorporating the smart/casual style. They've all scrubbed up and had haircuts and they look great but I miss Liam's and Zayn's quiffs and Harry's signature curls! I think out of the boys, my favourite outfit is Liam's or Harry's. Liam's looks so causal because of the leather jacket yet it looks so smart because of the tie. I think he got the best balance of smart:casual. Harry also looks particularly smart but he does looks casual as well. I'm not sure whether I like them looking like this as they look too individual and separate whereas if they had wore suits they would have looked more like a band.
Mcfly looked amazing on the red carpet! They almost stole the show off One Direction! I love how laid back they look and it reminds me of how they used to be back when they were all rocky and edgy. Danny has also gone for the smart/casual look shown by the choice of waistcoat. I think they look great and all their outfits are very plain and basic. Tom completes his outfit with the shirt tied around his waist and it adds to the chilled out laid back style that they have gone for.
I actually really like how Zayn's mum Trisha looked. She looked very elegant and classy with a long dress with lace sleeves. It definitely looks like a premiere dress and for a mum it's a really good choice.
Well Perrie's done it again. She looked absolutely stunning at the premiere. She looked so elegant and classy and definitely looked like she was dressed for a premiere. Perrie's usual style is quite rocky and casual so it's great that she can pull of so many styles. Perrie clearly has a thing of knowing what to wear when and where. She always looks great at big events as she looks amazing here and her outfit that she wore to the Brit Awards 2013 was the most wonderful thing ever and I don't think any celebrity has looked better than that. To the This Is Us premiere, Perrie has worn a floor length dress which has a black chiffon or mesh like material skirt and a nude coloured top which is complete with, what looks like velvet, detailing in a sort of branch pattern. Perrie completed her look by wearing her hair in a high ponytail which made the look even more classy. Jade also look amazing in a black playsuit (it might be short and top but I don't know) covered with a gold blazer. I'm surprised that jade didn't wear a dress as she is know for having the girly cute style but she looked stunning anyway. Her legs look amazing as well so it was a good idea to show them off. I also love her accessories, a gold bangle(s) and a necklace. The gold of the bracelet matches the gold blazer perfectly. Lastly, Leigh-Anne. I have to admit, I don't really like her outfit choice. I just don't really like the trousers and top combo. Individually, the items are nice but I just don't think they pair together well. I love the top and I think it would have look great with a black or white pencil skirt. I do like Leigh-Anne's jewellery choices of a gold bracelet and gold necklace.
Diana Vickers also attended the This Is Us premiere. She wore a simple white dress with a large cutout at the front. I love how the accessories are in contrasting colours to the dress, it makes the outfit complete. I think she looked very classy which is great.
Rochelle Humes looked amazing. My favourite part of her look is her hair and makeup. Her make up is flawless and just perfect and her hair seems to be in a messy(ish) fishtail plait.
I have to be completely honest, I was a bit let down at what Eleanor wore. I love Eleanor and her style is usually amazing. Don't get me wrong, I love the dress but I was just expecting her to wear something a bit more fancy like Perrie did. I also thought her bag looked a bit too casual. However, because this is Eleanor Calder, she can get away with what ever she wants so naturally, it looked amazing on her.
Finally, the YouTubers. I think every YouTuber looked amazing at the premiere. I love how Marcus Butler is wearing a smart suit but to make it casual he is wearing gold trainers and surprisingly, it actually works. Jim Chapman looks so smart and his suit fits him perfectly and I think he was one of the best dressed makes of the evening. I also really like the suit Alfie Deyes has chosen to wear. The navy blue, velvet jacket is something a bit different but it still looks so smart and he finishes off his outfit with a little black bowtie which is a nice touch -you can never go wrong with a bowtie.
Alfie was accompanied to the premiere with his girlfriend Zoe Sugg (zoella on YouTube). Zoe wore a very cute, dainty fairy-like chiffon dress. She looked very elegant and she chose to make it more edgy by wearing black wedge heels and a spiked leather clutch.
Tanya Burr also looked amazing. She wore a nude top with a short pencil/body-con skirt that has electric blue side panels and a black lace floral pattern on the front. She finished off her look with some nude Kurt Geiger heels that look amazing.
That's it! So who do you think looked best on the red carpet? Who do you think didnt look to great? And what do you guys think of the Zerrie engagement? Do you think they're too young? I'm honestly so happy for them because I'm a directioner and have always loved Zerrie and I've always wanted them to get married at some point. I just really hope it all works out for the two of them!

Nicki Minaj Collection at Kmart

A long time ago in, year 7, when I thought I was being cool liking every Facebook page that popped up, I liked Nicki Minaj. Because of this I have found out that she is bringing out a line of clothing at Kmart. I have to be honest, I don't really like Nickin Minaj that much. He music is alright but I just think she is too fake, I'm aware of how judgemental that sounds and I'm not judging her personality or anything because I don't know her personally. However, I've seen the pieces from the collection at Kmart and I think they look quite nice. They are designed for people her age obviously and young adults so I would never wear them but I still like them. We don't have Kmart here in England so I don't even know what that's like or what it sells. Anyway here are the items
This is my favourite piece from the collection and bodycon dresses are sort of in fashion now but they seem to be drifting off. I love the colour and pattern on this dress and overall it's just a nice dress.
This is quite out there and different so a lot of people would wear it but at the same time, a lot of people wouldn't. I like the disco trousers and the top is quite nice but I don't think they go together because its too much of the same pattern.
This is the last piece I've seen and I don't know of there will be more or not. Anyway, I really like the vintage style jacket but I would never wear it because I could never pull of vintage.
What does everyone else think? Do you like the collection? Do you think Nicki having a clothing line is a big mistake?

Product Review - Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara

On my blog I've done a few product reviews but non of them are very negative but I thought that you guys really should see what I don't like as well as what I do. So that's what I'm doing today.
Here is the product
I really really don't like this product at all. I know that might sounds harsh but I've given it a good try and I just don't like it. I don't feel like it actually does anything to my lashes and it doesn't even coat them in mascara unless I press down really hard which I don't like doing. From the name ( Sexy Curves) I thought it would curl them and coat them but it does neither. There's really not much to say other then it doesn't do anything for me. This is only my personal opinion and it might turn out that loads of people love this mascara but personally, I wouldn't recommend it and I think there's much better mascaras out there.
So this was just a short and sweet post but I hope you liked it

Nina Nesbitt Style

Nina Nesbitt is a Scottish/Swedish singer and she has quite a unique style. Nina tends to go for a very vintage look which on some people can look a bit strange but I think she looks great in this style. I think  it's great how she adds some modern touches to her style as she sometimes wears ruffle socks (most likely Topshop ones) and Nike Blazers.
Nina also always has flawless makeup that complements her complexion fantastically. Nina has quite pale, fair skin so generally she wears bright, bold, red lips and it looks great on her. The rest of her make up is kept quite natural except for her eyeliner. She is always seen wearing a classic winged liner and it always looks perfect - I'm actually jealous of it!
I am also extremely envious of Nina's hair. She has a really nice voluminous waves look. She manages to have texture and volume and soft waves all in one. I don't know if her waves are natural or not, if they're not I'd love to know how she gets her hair so wavy!
I think Nina's hair, make-up and style work together perfectly to create a wonderful look. I am so in love with her style but I'd never be able to pull it off but I would definitely wear vintage if I could.

Autumn Must Haves

Sadly, Summer is coming to an end and Autumn is just around the corner. As much as I love the summer weather, I also love the coziness of Autumn. This post is going to be things that I am going to be using a lot in the Autumn months and I hope some of you will find it useful.
Here's an overview of the beauty products that I think will be useful in Autumn.
First is a lip balm. This is so important for me because my lips dry up so easily so I need a lip balm on me at all times. I usually use Vaseline because it makes my lips heal really quickly and makes them feel baby soft. However, I've lost my Vaseline (which was nearly finished as well!) so I thought I'd include this Body Shop Spiced Vanilla Lip Balm. I love the scent of this because its so festive but is suitable for Autumn. It's also very buttery and moisturising
Next I've picked out some nail colours that I think are really good for the coming season.
Nudes are great for Autumn because they are so subtle and not over the top. They match nearly everything, especially Autumn clothing. I have the No7 Stay Perfect Nail Polish in the colour So Simple
Burgundy is also a fantastic nail colour for Autumn. I couldn't find the shade on the Collection 2000 one but the Maybelline one is in the colour 190 Racing Rubies
Reds are also really good for Autumn as they add a pop of colour. You have to be careful though as you do not want an overly bright red. Out of my collection, these were the best reds I had as the others were too bright.
This Rimmel polish is in the shade 315 Ready, Aim, Paint!
And the 17 one is in the shade Knockout Red
I also think bronze is a very Autumny colour because it reminds me of all the leaves. This is the O.P.I Nail Lacquer in the shade Brisbane Bronze
The next colour that I love is this Sinful Colours one. It's not come out the best on camera and its really hard to describe it but it is a glittery, fiery orange/red. It's in the colour Serena and Chloe
The final colour that I think is quite Autumny is any Emerald green. Again, it will add a pop of colour. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of one.
For lip colours in autumn I think deep reds are a must. I know that the Kate Moss lipsticks by Rimmel have a great variety of Autumn reds.
I don't know what brand this lipstick is but I know it's not a popular well known one. The colour hasn't come out the best on camera and it took me several attempts to get this shot however, it's the perfect Autumn red because its very deep and looks sort of burgundy in the packaging but on the lips it is a deep dark (but not too dark) red. It is in the shade Complete Spicy Red
I have a set of Stila Lips Glazes that I think are the perfect colour for Autumn
They game in a pack of three and were part of some sort of Red Carpet/Hollywood collection and i think It was limited edition. They are in the colours Lights, Camera and Action
These are very different to lip gloss as they are much thicker and are like a lip tar. They last longer than a lip gloss and, in my opinion, are a lot nicer. They don't have the regular sponge applicator, instead they have a brush.
Although I'm not an eyeshadow person, I have picked out a lot of Autumn eyeshadows.
This palette is a bit ruined but I really like the browns that it has and I would wear these I'm autumn. This is the Colour Workshop palette

This palette also has really nice bronzers and blushes that a good for Autumn.
I am in love with the colours in this mini set. They are great and remind me of coffee, which is probably why it is called Coffee Bean
It is from the Revlon ColourStay collection and I think the shades match so well and would look great in a smokey eye combo.
The next eye "thing" isn't the particular shadow but the look and that look is...
..the smokey eye. The colours in this palette are suitable for Autumn but more for an Autumn night out/special occasion
It comes with a chubby smokey eyeliner which is also another of my autumn musts.
So that's it for beauty picks, now for fashion.
First is cable knit leggings
Mine are from Primark and in an aubergine sort of colour. Here's a close up of the pattern
I just think cable knit looks really cute and is something a bit different to regular leggings. It is also cosier and comfy than normal leggings.
My second and final fashion pick is oversized jumpers and cardigans. I love oversized knits because they look nice but they keep to comfy and warm. I love curling up with an oversized knit, hot chocolate and a book in Autumn and Winter. I haven't had the chance to buy a knit for this year but I've been loving the ones in Primark that I've seen so far. Primark seems to be ahead of everyone and have already got their Autumn/Winter stock out which is so handy because it means that you can buy what you want and be prepared for when the cold weather comes (depending on where you live).
I hope you enjoyed this Autumn post and I hope it's been useful to you all!
