No7 Lipstick

I'm so excited right now! So I was having a look through my mum's makeup collection and found the nicest lipstick ever! My mum is really into reds and dark purples which is different to me. As much as I would love to wear red lipstick, it just doesn't suit me and I need up looking like a little kid trying to be grown up which is not a good look..aha. Anyways, I came across a really pretty coral sort of red and just thought I might as well try it out and see what it was like and I absolutely loved it!
This is the shade 207 Watermelon and is a red coral with a hint of pink. Who doesn't love the name watermelon though? It instantly makes you think of summer and this shade is perfect for summer. It's really creamy and moisturising and easy to apply. If you've read any of my lipstick posts before you will know that I find it really hard to apply lipstick and it always ends up looking messy which annoys me because I love the idea of lipsticks and I love the variety of colours. So far I have found that No7 lipsticks are the easiest to apply and the two that I have never look messy and are easy to blend out.
These photos really don't do the product justice. As this is an old product I don't think it will still be available but it could be I really don't know. If it is not available I think there would probably a similar shade so I would recommend checking the boots website or in store (British people).
This was a really short post but I had to share my excitement! Xx

A Week In Pictures - Week 1

Hello there! I haven't blogged in ages as usual but this time I have a good excuse (I hope it's a good one anyways).. so I've been on holiday last week (or this week?) and stupidly I forgot to pack my iPad charger or phone charger so I had to limit my use of my ipad. Anyways, as promised, here is a week in pictures for the first week of the summer holidays!
A random little carnival.. It wasn't amazing but some of the costumes were really good.

Me doing a handstand on the beach. This was actually on my summer bucket list (last blog post). I was actually really surprised that I could still do a handstand aha.

Little ice cream boat. I think this is so unique and different and cute! The tune it played was so cute too

Literally the best ice cream ever.

The beach and sea and stuff.

Yep I'm 14 and yes I bulit a sandcastle.

I also saw some fireworks on the last day and took some cute photos

I love that this one is out of focus because it makes it look really cute and sparkly

GLITTER EXPLOSION!!!

I hope you enjoyed this little post and I know it's a bit boring but i can't help it. I also apologise for the messy layout. :* xx

Summer bucket List

This year I decided to make a summer bucket list for the first time ever. Most will be but if you are not familiar with the concept of a bucket list then it is a list of things you really want to do over a period of time whether like mine it is summer or it could be your whole life. Things on your bucket list are things you personally want to do and try and they are different to you're summer plans. You don't just write a list of your plans like go shopping. I made a bucket list as I saw a girl on instagram made one and I considers making one. My friend Kendal then told me that she was planning on making one so we decided to sort of make them together. We plan to do a lot together as our lists are very similar but there are things I have that she doesn't and things she has that I don't. I've written out my list and I'm super excited to try and do all the things on the list! Every time I do something off the list I'm going to take a photo and after summer I'm going to put them all into a big summer scrap book. I want to document my summer this year as its something I've never done properly before. Also I always end up so bored in summer so I'm hoping that with I'm bucket list I'm going to have things to do. I'm going to blog and maybe vlog my summer and just do little video clips from it. I'm so excited to share my summer!
I have a lot more pages than this! I seriously cannot wait to try and do all 72 things on my list and share it all with you lot! I would encourage anyone to make a bucket list for over summer because it means that im going to be a lot less bored and I will enjoy my summer much more and its so exciting! And I only have one more day at school until summer! I hope you liked this post and enjoy seeing what I get up to over summer!
(also, my writing isn't usually this messy)
Thank you! :* xx

After sun

Ok so this might seem like a bit if a strange post but please keep reading :*  During summer months I tend to stop using body butter and replace it with after sun lotion. I do this because of many reasons. First of all, after sun has a nicer summer scent (in my opinion). Currently I'm using the Ted Baker Body Butter and I love the scent of it but I think it's more of a winter scent whereas the after sun is more summery and fresh. Secondly, the after sun is much lighter than body butter. When it's warm you don't want to feel caked in body butter but after sun feels lighter on the body and absorbs quicker. After sun also has a lot of benefits for your skin. It is made specifically for when you've spent hours in the sun so it sort of cools you down and it is very soft and gentle on burnt skin and it soothes bunt skin so I would definitely make this a summer must have seeing as a lot of people burn. Here is the after sun I use

This is the one that I've always used and I haven't used any other brands though I'm sure other brands make after sun as it is such a popular product.
This was just a short post because again, I haven't got anything to blog about soni hope you liked this post

A week in photos (intro)

I really struggle t think of things to blog about which frustrates me so much because I love blogging! Anyway, I've had an idea. My school comes on summer break soon which I'm super excited about! As I have lots of exciting things planned for over summer, I thought it would be good to document them here on my blog. Normally I would blog about fashion so it will be a little different but hopefully quite good. I also thought that occasionally I would do a blog on outfits of the week so I can still incorporate fashion into my blog. I'm really excited for summer and I can't wait to share what I get up to!

Kristina Webb

This post is a little different than usual and not something I would usually blog about but at the moment I'm relating to a lot of Kristina's work. Kristina Webb is an exceptionally talented artist. Her drawings are so realistic and amazing and I wish I had her talent.
Her most famous piece is this

So she drew this and posted it on her Tumblr and got loads of reblogs. Originally p, she didn't put a signature on the drawing. It became so famous and appeared on websites all over the Internet and it got to the point where people didn't believe that it was hers! I actually had a go a drawing this picture myself..
It's not the best and the proportions are all wrong but I'm quite pleased with it but I don't really like any of my drawings so yeah.
Kristina is so creative. Recently she drew a girl with a dress made out of pencil sharpenings which must ave taken her forever. She followed this piece with a girl with a dress made of Ferrero Rocher wrappers and then a girl with a dress made of star sequins. I loved them all and they were all so unique and creative. Even more recently she drew a girl with a dress made of real rose petals and so far its ,y favourite one out of this collection
She also draws a lot of Disney too so I'm obviously going to be a fan of her drawings!
I love this one because it's Disney but it has a meaning and imaginative and just "inspirational"
Kristina also draws a lot of pictures with meanings/anti-bullying pictures.
I think a lot of people can relate to these pictures and she assures people that it will be ok and these drawings just make you stop and think about your life and the way you act. She's got some many followers and she uses this to make people aware of issues I'm the world and people's feelings. I think kristina is an extremely inspirational person.
Here are a few other drawings that I like if hers
I hope you liked this post and I hope you think about some of her work and how effective it is. This post I think comes with a message which is "Think." think about what that word means and how it relates to this post. Also look at the rest of Kristina's amazing work on her instagram @colour_me_creative
Sorry if this seems depressing, I'm not feeling great at the minute but I don't mean this to be depressing, I just want everyone to think. And also I love Kristina's work anyway.
Thank you x

MUA cosmetics

I really have had a bloggers block this week.. And for this reason I'm doing a blog on something I haven't even used before hitch is strange but please go with it.
I thought I'd do a little (or it could get quite long) post on MUA cosmetics. MUA stands for Make Up Academy. I've heard so many mixed reviews about this brand but I'm definitely looking forward to trying out a couple of products from them. If you're unaware, MUA are know for making dupes of expensive/more pricey brands such as Clinique, Essie and Mac. Im not 100 % sure but I think the highest price for a product from MUA is about £5 (excluding palettes). This is great and the packaging really does mimic some pricier brands. Here are a few dupes that MUA do.

First off is nails. Above is MUA's collection of magnetic nail polishes and underneath that is one of Barry M's magnetic polishes. Although I've never tried any of these products before, the MUA version look good dupes. I was considering trying out the Barry M ones but now I have discovered that MUA make them too, I'm more likely going to try out theirs. The MUA polish is just £3.50 per bottle compared to the Barry M price of £4.99 which I think is a bit too much.

Well... This look familiar.. The packaging of these polishes look the exact copy of Essie. For those of you who don't know, Essie is an extremely popular brand of nail polishes avaliable in many parts of the world. Even England! Anyways, Essie is very expensive with a price of approximately £7.99 per polish. As I'm not really a nail person, I've never felt willing enough to pay that much for something I probably wouldn't use that much. These MUA dupes are just £1 each. Yes, £1! I've always wanted a mint green polish but the only one I could find was the raved about Mint Candy Apple by Essie. I then discovered Pistachio Ice Cream by MUA (above) which is very similar to Mint Candy Apple.
(mint candy apple by Essie) they aren't exactly the same but if anything, I prefer the MUA Ine as it is more green based. Another popular Essie shade is Fiji which is a very light pink.
This is Natural Days from MUA which I find quite similar to Fiji.
Next onto Lips.
MUA have done a great copy of the Clinique Chubby sticks.
They look nearly identical. When I first saw the TV advert for Chubby Sticks I instantly wants one but I knew, with it being from Clinique, it would be very expensive. Chubby Sticks are £16 each which is so over priced. I'm definitely a drug store kind of girl. I didn't even consider buying one after I found out the price. I then discovered MUA Power Pouts which look the same and at just £3.00 each it's worth the risk to see if it is good.
These lip stains remind me so much of the Rimmel 1000 kisses Lip Tint. I do actually own a 1000 kisses lip tint but I managed to find one in the pound shop. Usually the Rimmel version are around £7.99 where as these MUA ones are £3.00.
Finally eyes.
These products look so similar. So far I've heard that the MUA one isn't too great but others think its fantastic. I own the Bourjouis one in the shade pictured and I love it! It's so easy to create the smoky eye look and all three shades are very pigmented. I got this as a present and its not something I would consider buying for my self but I have it and it's great. I'm not sure how much it was but it won't have been as cheap as the MUA trio. Unfortunately I've heard so far that they aren't pigmented at all and overall a huge let down but I guess all people have different opinions.
Finally is this cheeky little dupe. This dupe is actually pretty popular. The first picture is the MUA undressed palette and below it is the Urban Decay Naked (1) palette. I think nearly all 'eyeshadow' people want the Naked or Naked 2 palette but unfortunately it costs around £36. However, MUA created the Undressed palette and is just £4 but copies each shade pretty much exactly. MUA also have a dupe for the Naked 2 palette.

So those were just a few dupes I've foud that look super good. I really can't wait to try out some of these dupes as well as some other original MUA products. I hope they're good as they are so reasonably priced and there's so much I want to try. Hope you liked this post!

Shabby Chic

I love the shabby chic look for interior design. It can look a bit weird sometimes but it generally looks really cute, girly and vintagey. I would love to have shabby chic things in my room but they wouldnt match it. I think shabby chic matches pastel coloured rooms. I've had a look on the Internet and found some super cute shabby chic things that would all make a beautiful room.
First of all is this lovely bed set from Dunelm. It's quilted and made of vintage patterned patches and just looks so nice. It would make a really nice girly room if it was matched with some of the other items I've picked.
These two items are off a website I found called www.bronterose.co.uk I looked through a couple of pages of the website and it stocked some really cute shabby chic items. I love the heart with the little quote just because it's a heart so it's cute and I love little quotes like this. I just think it would look really pretty just hung up somewhere around the house. The little heart draws would look nice anywhere. They would be great for jewellery and they are so vintagey and just really nice. Definitely look at the website because there are so many other great items.
Well, clearly with the amount of items here, I'm slightly obsessed with this website. If you haven't noticed on the photos, the website is livelaughlove.co.uk here is the actual link I found these items off.     These are a small..ish selection of items. There we so many lovely shabby chic pieces I loved! First is some lovely book ends which spell love. They have a rustic look to them and look super cute! Next is a small heart plaque. I specifically wanted to find a plaque to put in this post as I think they are one of the best shabby chic items. This one has such a cute quote on it as well. I'm not madly in love with the font as I think I looks a bit "cheap" but overall it looks lovely. The third item is just a basic block with a vintage flower print on it. It's so simple yet would be the perfect touch to a vintage shabby chic room. Fourthly is a block photo frame with 3D paper butterflies. The website also had the same thing but with little teacups which also looked really cute. I love this item but it's not really worth the money when it can be made so easily for much cheaper and it would probably look more vintage. The next item is a similar design to block with the rose print. It is a sheet calendar. I think this is so useful as its a lot less stress than a paper calendar because I find that they always get ripped and fall down. With this it helps you keep track of the dates and it can be reused every year. As well as being really useful, it looks great as well with a vintage flower print. I am absolutely in love with this bird trinket dish! I think it's perfect to put on your dresser or whatever and just put all your jewellery in it. It's would look really shabby chic with jewellery and you'll be able to see what you have there as when I put my jewellery in a box I forget about it and never wear any. I may consider buying this item myself as I think it would look great and would be really handy. Next is a glass bottle with a sliver heart and white lace ribbon. Although I'm not sure what you'd use this for or what you'd put in it, I still love it. Even if it's left empty, I still think it would look really cute. The 8th item is a set of 3 small dish sort of things. They aren't the sort of dishes that would hold load of things, maybe just a ring or something. I don't even think these need to have anything on them and they would still look nice. They have the cute words on them that are sort of inspirational. The vintage looking tins are so nice because the can store so much and they look really old and they're just really nice and cute. Next is a wooden self with hearts cut out of it. I don't know why I like this but I do. It does look like its fr out door use but it would look really pretty in a room holding something like a small vase or just books and magazines. I love the natural look of it. Lastly is a flower garland. This is probably my most favourite item out of all of them. It would look so nice on a shelf or round a mirror. It would look nice anywhere! This also has a nice natural look to it and I just think its the perfect touch for a light coloured room.
Of any of you have watched Zoe's (Zoella) festive room tour, you will notice that she has a lot of shabby chic things in her room that all look really nice together. You will also notice that she gets a lot of it for, charity shops and jumble sales. It's always good to look in places like this for shabby chic items as they'll be super cheap yet will still look nice. They will probably look nicer as they could be more vintage.
Sorry this is such a long post but I hope if you've read it then you liked it
