Tumblr and Textiles

I hold my hands up and admit that I'm slightly addicted to Tumblr.. I can spend hours on it without realising and usually I'm look at very pointless gifs that I find entertaining. However, I now have a good excuse to use the website as often as I do... As part of my textiles work, I had to do an artist research and with my theme being The Wizard Of Oz, I had to find an artist which could be related to that theme. One day when I was casually scrolling through Tumblr, I saw that one of my favourite blogs had reblogged part of Elie Saab's bridal wear collection and I saw that it could be related to The Wizard Of Oz which was lucky because I was really struggling to find an artist/designer to use. I googled the rest of the collection and it was perfect! With it being a designer I thought I would share the lovely pieces seeing as my blog is a fashion blog...
I couldn't pick my favourites so I just had to share the whole collection! But that means the pictures a really little so goggle it to see them better!

Sebastian Errazuriz: 12 Shoes For 12 Lovers

A while ago I saw a post on Tumblr about these shoes and I recently saw something which reminded me of them and I thought that they would make a really good post, especially seeing as valentines day is just around the corner!
So the theme of the collection is love and each shoe is inspired by a different "type" of lover all based on personal experiences of Sebastian Errazuriz and each shoe has a little story with it. I decided to only include the shoes just to make the most a little shorter, the shoes are so incredibly creative and unique, I find them so intriguing.
"Honey"
"Cry Baby"
"Gold Digger"
"Heartbreaker"
"Ice Queen"
"Hot Bitch"
"The Virgin"
"Jet Setter"
"The Boss"
"GI Jane"
"The Ghost"
"The Rock"

I hope you found this post interesting! I hope you all have a good valentines day whatever you're doing and whoever you spend it with!

Kristina Webb 2

So a while a go, I did a post all about the extremely popular Kristina Webb and it has ended up being my most viewed post to date. Since then she has created lot more artwork and considering it is my most popular post, I thought I'd share a few more of her new creations..
*Tangled is one of my most favourite movies ever (top three with Peter Pan and Aladdin) so I love this*
*This drawing is absolutely beautiful, I really support the whole "Love is Love" thing.*
*Very relatable aha*
*I strongly urge you all to go onto Kristina's Instagram (@colour_me_creative) and watch this video. It is a short animation made up of 12 of her hand drawn pictures!*

I love all Kristina's work, she is so incredibly talented and creative and writing this post has motivated me to try and practice drawing.
Hope you all enjoyed it! I hope to be blogging a little more frequently now, sorry for the long absence.

Mini Makeup Haul (Boots)

How weird is feels to be back! I'm sorry I've been so absent recently with blogging it's more to do with the fact I had nothing interesting to blog about and not being in the mood to blog than not having time -sorry! Anyway, I now have something mildly interesting to blog about!
My makeup collection has been looking pretty down for quite a few months now and I could never justify spending the little money I had on new products. I now have suddenly aquired a lot of money and whilst in town I may have found myself in boots and purchased a few new products that I've been wanting for a while. I have a huge list of beauty products I dream of (all drugstore) and I decided to pick up a few of these.
I first picked up this lovely Sleek blush. I've wanted to get some Sleek into my collection for a whole now as so many people rave about it and I find it rather difficult to resist the cute packaging -this little blush is so dainty and delicate! The selection of colours in Boots wasn't particularly great and I didn't have much time to carefully chose one so I tested a couple and grabbed my favourite which was Life's A Peach
I'm super excited to try this out properly!

Next I also got a lipstick from Sleek, something I've been wanting for a whole as well. Again, the beautiful packaging was just too hard to resist! I tested a few and quickly got the one that I thought I would use the most which happend to be Barely There
Taking pictures of lipstick is always incredibly difficult and I can never get the true colour to come out on camera so I will try my best to describe it... It a really pretty nude/peach/pink, really subtle and girly which is why I was drawn to it. I'm sorry my descriptive techniques are not great so I suggest you go and try it in Boots or Superdrug instead if you really want to know what it's like.

The next item I added to my collection was another blush. This one is from Natural Collection and is in the colour Sweet Cheeks. It's quite a dark, "wintry" pink colour. The reason I describe it as being "wintry" is because it is quite a dark and I think darker blushes are best in winter whereas bright pinks and peaches are for spring and summer. I've had a Natural Collection blush before (about 2 years ago, haha) and I really liked it but never got round to repurchasing.

The final two products I got are from Rimmel. The first was this Natural Bronzer in the colour 022 Sunbronze. I don't have much to say about it, it's just a typical bronzer. It's good but not great but I haven't tried it properly yet and considering how cheap it is compared to some other bronzers it's pretty good.
Finally I got the product that pretty much every blogger/YouTuber beauty guru raves about... And that is the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. I was a little reluctant to buy this as a lot of Rimmel products I've bought before have been really disappointing. I decided that as I desperately needed a new powder, this one would do because again, it was really cheap and everyone raves about it. Like everyone else, I absolutely love it! It is literally so perfect, it looks so natural and it is just a flawless product. I got the Transparent shade because I really could not be bothered to find the right colour for me (I'm so lazy and that is why I hate foundation shopping). I wasn't sure how it would turn out but it's actually really great and there's no problem with it being transparent.

That's it! I've actually had this post written for weeks but I've had so many problems trying so save it, sorry! Anyway, I guess I'm back and I'd like to stay back.
I'd love it if you guys would follow me on my blog Instagram which is

I've hardly posted on it (literally 1 post) but I'd like to start using it and make more of it but I have literally 0 followers.
