Disney Fashion

I'm slightly obsessed with instagram, Disney and fashion. When these three things are mixed the instagram page Disney Fashion is created and I love it. Disney Fashion is an instagram page that creates outfits inspired by different Disney characters. All the outfits look so nice and wearable and they are designed for modern day wear instead of like when the motives are set. The only downside to this page is that you aren't told where anything is from which can be annoying when a really nice item is used however it is clear that a lot of time and effort goes into each outfit so I think this it is understandable that it doesn't say where to purchase it from. Here are a few examples of outfits that have been created.
Search it on instagram @disneyfashion and follow it! It's such a great account especially for girly girls like me who love Disney and fashion!

Photography + movie marathon

Today I enjoyed a great day with all mis amigos! We began the day by watching high school musical 1 and 2. We had intended to watch them all but we never got round to it. High School Musical was a bit part of my life for about three years and it was great to watch the first two as it bought back so many great memories. I only owned the 3rd movie on DVD so I never really got the chance to watch the other two as often and it was so fun to see how much Zac Efron has changed since the first HSM. It was a little emotional watching the movies as, like I said before, it was a big part of my life when I was younger and it was nice to reminisce. What's funny is, despite the fact I've not watched the films in years, I can still remember pretty much every word to all the songs. I'm looking forward to having another movie day just to watch the 3rd one. Tbh the best news ever would be to find out they're making a fourth movie with all the original cast. If you know how to make that happen then please do it. It would actually mean so much to me and my friends if there was another movie. So yeah.. I'm a bit of a weirdo.

The reason why we didn't get round to watching the last film was because we went on a walk. We found ourselves in a field and decided that this was a good oppurtunity to take some creative photos.
It was so fun to do like a mini photo shoot for no reason. It was really funny as well and we ended up going to buy ice lollies and just overall had a lot of fun.
I'm excited to spend the day with them all again and no doubt we will probably take some more creative/dramatic photos.
This is a bit different to my usual blog posts and I doubt anyone reads much of the things I post but anyways, I hope you like it x

L'oreal Everstrong

So I've been wanting to grow my hair out really long for a while so I was reading about sulphate and non-sulphate shampoos so I could get a better understanding of the difference. After looking through many articles I discovered that sulphates aren't good for your hair (which I already knew) and they are basically just their to increase the lather as it is natural for people to associate soap and bubbles with cleanliness. As well as not being good for your hair, they can also slow down the speed at which your hair grows at. With this in mind I was quickly looking for non-sulphate shampoos available. They all seemed quite pricey and many weren't available in the UK. I wasn't really prepared to pay up to £20 for a shampoo but then I came across the new L'oreal range of sulphate free shampoos and conditioners. This new range has different shampoos for different hair types and each one does something different for your hair. I still wasn't sure whether to buy one or not but I'm so glad I did! In case I didn't like it, I only purchased the shampoo and not the conditioner but now I may purchase the conditioner as well. I decided to buy the EverStrong as my hair can break easily. Another reason choosing this one is that breakage can prevent length being added to your hair so I thought if it was stronger this would be less likely. The shampoo itself smells so nice and refreshing! It use natural sents and honestly smells like some relaxed garden place. I brought mine from Superdrug as this was the cheapest I could find it (I ended up paying £3.99 rather than £5.99 from Boots). I think that compared to other non-sulphate shampoos, this is a great price and value. I've only been using this product for about a week and I'm already in love with it! I've noticed huge improvements to my hair in terms of its healthiness. Overall it is a lot stronger and shinier and just feels nicer and softer. As I've not been using it that long I havent noticed any difference to my length but hopefully I will in the future. Even if I don't it was worth the money and I probably with buy more once I've run out and I will probably also buy the conditioner to work with it. This is a great product great value considering the prices of competitors. Definitely worth trying out. X

Hair Talk!

Unfortunately I have been given horrible flat straight hair. I know that a lot of people envy those with straight hair but trust me, having straight hair is horrible. It always looks so boring and hardly has any ways to style it and what is worse for me is that my hair has no volume what so ever so my hair is just plain and boring. I wish I had naturally curly/wavy hair so badly.
I am completely in love with Bethany Mota's (MacBarbie07) hair. It has a perfect wave/curl to it and just looks so effortless and casual.

I'm sure that this is Bethany's natural hair style and if it is she is so lucky but if it isn't I desperately want to know how to achieve hair like hers.
Another YouTuber with perfect hair is AndreasChoice and her twin sister. They both have beautiful long hair that is naturally extemely curly and very voluminous.

They are unbelievably lucky!
Last is Zoe Sugg (Zoella) who is also a YouTuber.

She has naturally straight hair but hers is a lot better than mine! Her hair is very long and I'm hoping to grow mine to the same length. She also has ombréd the ends of her hair which I may also do in the future despite the fact that it isn't really "the trend" anymore. I think ombré adds something to your hair and makes it more "interesting". Anyway, Zoe also has very voluminous hair which I envy so much! I wish I could make my straight hair like hers so that I can make do with what I've got but it seems that me and my hair don't get on so it purposally doesn't do what I want it to. *sigh* oh well... If there was some way of getting my hair to have just a bit of a natural permanant wave in it then I would be extremely happy but I've yet to find such a thing. X

Perrie Edwards

I love Little Mix especially Perrie Edwards. I love her, her personality and of course Zerrie! I am a huge fan of Perrie's style. She is a very pretty girl and she manages to pull off so many looks such as girly, boho and rocky/edgy.
She is utterly flawless! As well as her amazing style, I love her hair colours which are bold and always look great and show off her personality.

I've noticed that Perrie wears a lot of skater dresses which always look very flattering on everyone and what's great is Perrie wears a lot of clothing from high street brands.
This photo is taken from the 'Change Your Life' video. Here Perrie is wearing a beautiful bright blue dress. The dress looks amazing anyway but it is completed with the hair accessories which is a flower hairband with vines that trail down giving it that summer boho look. The colour of the dress also looks great against Perrie's purple hair. I think that this dress is available from ASOS.

I can't even explain how much I love this outfit! It's so perfect and girly and cute! The dress is gorgeous and matches her hair perfectly and the floral hair band makes it feminine and cute but the heels make it elegant and classy. This is honestly one of my all time favourite outfits worn by any celebrity.
This dress just screams summer! The tie dye looks great in summer and this dress is even better because of the colour. It's very casual and I think this is from Topshop and I believe that Perrie owns the same dress in blue which looks just has good.

This outfit is beautiful. The pinafore style skirt looks perfect and summery and the floral design accentuates the summer feel of the outfit. It's very girly yet Perrie has worn trainers to make it more "her" and more casual.

Unfortunately I could not get a better picture of this dress. The dress is plain white with a horse print (it could be zebra -I'm nt sure). It's so pretty and the yellow detailing finishes it off perfectly.

Here Perrie is wearing a shirt style dress with a paisley print. It's so pretty! The green colour gives it a boho kind of look and the belt adds definition.

the photo is take from the 'How Ya Doin?' video where Perrie is seen wearing a comic print cropped sweater. Comic and graphic print is becoming very popular lately and Perrie has been seen wearing it a lot. The sweater itself is from Topshop which is great as it is widely available.

Lastly is this beautiful floral print dress. I saw Perrie wearing. This during one of the Little Mix DNA Diaries videos. I've been looking for a dress like this for ages and instantly fell in love with it. Later, I was doing some Internet shopping and decided to look at Urban Outfitters which is strange as I don't tend to shop at Urban Outfitters as it is a little pricey but I'm so glad I did! As I wanted a skater sort of dress I looked at the dress section and was over the moon when I came across the exact same dress that Perrie is wearing in the photo. The back of the dress has cross sort of straps which is a nice touch. I'm undecided whether to buy the dress or not as it is particularly expensive but it's a lovely dress anyway. The vintage rose pattern looks lovely on the pale blue base colour if the dress. Floral is fun and a must have for summer! Especially this dress as the light colours make the dress very casual, laid back and not over the top. If you have the money then I would recommend buying this dress! X

Pastels!

My favourite colours are pastels and I think that pastels are the perfect colours for spring and summer. They are cute and girly and add colour to outfits. What's great about pastels is that you can get away with having a full outfit of different pastel colours because they are so subtle. I've been looking around and picked out some cute pastel pieces that I think would be great for this summer.

This first item is a beautiful coraly/pastely pink bag. It is a Steve Madden bag and is from New Look. I think the satchel style works perfectly with the pink and this would look great with so many outfits, it is a very versatile bag.

This dress is available from Topshop. It is a lovely light blue colour with off white spots. It's very girly and feminine and the spots change it up a bit rather than a plain blue dress. This dress would match well with the Steve Madden bag as shown before. Currently this dress is on sale for £18 pounds rather than £32 which is a great deal for Topshop which is great quality and perfect fit
I then was shopping around and found an American website called LuLus. I'm not sure where they ship to but I found some great pastel items!
The first item from LuLu's are these mint green pumps. From the photo they look almost like vans. I love mint green as it is very girly and pumps are perfect as they go with many outfits.

Continuing with the mint green is this heart sweater. This item is extremely feminine because of the colours and the cute heart elbow patches. The white stands out against the green and spices the plain jumper up a bit which looks great.

Even more mint green! In spring and summer you can't go wrong with a cute dress and this one is a must have even if your not a dress person. First of all it cinches in at the waist which is very flattering. The the cream lace adds a girly touch to it. Also the collar on this dress makes it girly and sophisticated whilst remaining casual. This makes it very wearable as you can wear it smart or casual.
The final piece from LuLu's is the gorgeous ombré dress. What makes this such a great item is that it combines two trends in one with the pastels and the ombré. This is one of the cutest dress I have ever seen. The pink and lilac work so well together and the final section of white with a purple hint finishes the dress off perfectly. As well as the ombré and pastels, the top section is thick lace. Lace and cutouts are very popular at the moment and it adds even more girliness. The skirt of the dress is made from a light chiffon material so it can be worn on very hot days as it was a lot of air and space.
Unfortunately this picture does not show what the skirt looks like properly. This skirt from miss Selfridge is actually an embossed skirt. Embossed material is becoming very popular lately but it tends to be in plain black or white. This pretty pink skirt is girly yet sophisticated and would look great for a meal out or just shopping in town. Again it is one of those pieces that can be dressed up and down although I would personally recommend it be worn more for night outs during the summer months.
I am in love with Miss Selfridge at the moment. They have been selling a lot of girly items which is perfect for me! This skirt is stunning! It is a simple skirt but is not too boring and flat. The colour would be great for colour blocking and is Definitely a summer colour because it is such a bright pink. This is a more casual item yet could be worn formally with accessories and perhaps a blazer.
This skirt is just so perfect! It is a very pastely pink. It is from River Island. River Island have a great range of skater skirts with different patterns and colours. This is so simple and would look great in summer because it's so laid back and casual and not showy at all. The colour and style makes it perfect and a must have for all those girly girls like me!
My final pick are these pale yellow jeans also from River Island. These jeans are also available in other colours such as peach but I chose these yellow ones because yellow is the best colour for spring and summer because it is so happy and bouncy and, with these jeans, very chilled.

Mascaras

I think that's mascaras are hugely important for completing a make-up look. If, like me, you can't do fancy eyeshadow or winged liner, mascara is a great way to draw attention to your eyes and add definition to them. Here I have selected a few of my favourite:
First is the Maybelline Illegal Length mascara. This is probably my most favourite mascara ever! It adds so much length to your lashes because of the special fibre extensions in the mascara. It makes your lashes look almost fake but classy and not over the top for everyday. It's very cute and girly and if your eyes are your best feature, it would be worth adding emphasis with your mascara and going natural with everything else and this would be the perfect mascara to do this.
Next is the Rimmel Magnif'eyes. This mascara is best for those days when you don't want to do to much with your make up. It's very natural and perfect for everyday. Its not one of my favourites but I tend to use it over other mascaras as it removes clumps very well.
Another Rimmel mascara I love is the adjustable volume mascara. This is great as you can simply decide how you need your lashes to look and adjust the volume. It is just one brush and I'm not entirely sure how it works but I can assure you it does! You only need one mascara for day-night.
The mascara that I use nearly everyday is the Maybelline High Heel Volume. I could go on about this all day! My mum bought this for herself from the Pound shop but said I could have it as my mascara had recently run out. With it being from the pound shop I was a little unsure to try it but I'm so glad I did! It lengthens your lashes so much! It is brown but once on your lashes it looks black. It is a great quality mascara and for only £1 is great value. I would recommend looking at your local pound shop (uk) and searching through the make up section, they often have a section for famous brand such as maybelline, Rimmel and even Sleek! The products are still originals and not copies so you don't have to spend too much on make up and you can use the left over money that you saved to buy more products!
Finally is the Diorshow mascara. The brush on this is very thick and full. It is definitely a mascara for special occasions but can be worn everyday like most mascaras. Personally I don't tend to use this on a regular basis unless my lashes need to look fuller but it is very useful to have in my collection.

Hayden Williams

For those of you who don't know, Hayden Williams is a young British fashion designer. He is extremely talented and his incredible illustrations have led to him being recognised by the likes of Beyoncé. I am a huge fan of his because his sketches are stunning and so clever. I first saw his work when I came across his Disney Divas collection. Being the typical girly, girl I love Disney and found the drawings so clever and different. The Disney Divas collection is the original princesses drawn as more modern day girls/models.

I was instantly a fan! I soon discovered Hayden's instagram and I have been following his illustrations since then. I absolutely love all his work but I've decided to select a few of my most favourites..

This is Hayden's sketch of the beautiful Ariana Grande. I love how it looks exactly like her but keeps to Hayden's original style.
More recently, he drew this sketch of One Direction. Being a huge directioner, I was fangirling so much when I saw this on my instagram homepage! It's perfect and I love Niall's drawing (I'm a Niall girl).
These are only a few of my favourite drawings of Hayden's. I am also in love with his Audrey Hepburn sketches as well as his Christmas collection, Taylor Swift, Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Disney Oz collection. Hayden Williams is a huge inspiration to me as I've wanted to be a fashion designer since I was about 7. I love his creativity and just everything he does. Definitely check out his instagram! (@hayden_williams) and also definitely look at his Beyoncé Mrs Carter world tour collection! X

Being a British Girl

So..
Being British always has its ups and downs. Firstly we basically have nothing here like there are no good products like Baby Lips (which are coming to the uk soon and I'm unbelievably excited about). All the good products are in America. All the good hair products and everything and I'm a British teenage girl and therefore I have no money to pay for shipping so yeah.. Then there's the weather. One minute it will be so warm and sunny so you put on new summer clothes and your just like "I'm gonna got out in the sun and tan and have a great time" does that ever happen? No. Not really anyway. So you've got your shorts or whatever on, go outside for five minutes and then it's raining. That's the reality of it. In Britain there is literally nothing do (where I live anyway) it all involves money. Which like I said before, I don't have a lot of. This makes doing things with friends incredibly hard. I think I have found that us British girls get bored extremely easily. So after that huge rant about how crap Britain is, I do still love it. We can be proud that we have our British accents that people are jealous of for some strange reason. We have the queen who everyone is obssessed with (also have no idea why). We have products no one else does like The Natural Collection and Barry M and all that. Honestly, even though Britain isn't the best place to live I love being here and I wouldn't last living somewhere else ith out my British food and British friends and everything

School life...

Ughh.. Like seriously, summer needs to hurry up. Honestly can't even last to the end of the school year with all this homework. Half of it is so pointless and doesn't even help. And then there's all the last minute assessments.. What even is the point in them? Hate school so much right now it's unreal but I'm just gonna have to deal with it.

Ermm..hello..

¡Hola amigos!
I doubt anyone will even read this or read any other posts in the future but oh well! I don't even know what to say... I'm just another one of those teenage British girls who is constantly bored and all that so yeah. That's it really. Adios x
